We firmly believe that adoption is primarily a matter of people and organization . The organization of users is critical to the success of digital transformations, yet often overlooked. The emergence of AI makes this issue even more pressing. Once information systems are up and running, we work with both business units and IT to help the company structure itself to realize the long-term benefits promised by the technical solutions. Over time.

Our experience also allows us to work upstream of the transformation, on digital strategies and AI integration, to identify, with your teams, the most promising areas. We create a roadmap with you that integrates technical, project management, and organizational aspects for a successful transformation.

A successful information system is built on well-designed software that serves the men and women who use it. This is where value is created. By providing users with the right organizational structures, best practices, and effective decision-making and task prioritization methods, organizational performance is sustained over time. Hermedis has acquired this expertise through nearly 30 years of experience in industry, internationally, working with large corporations as well as mid-sized companies. We now share this expertise with our clients.

Values and principles of action
There is no miracle organization

We don't have a magic wand, but we build your organization with your teams, based on proven principles and everything that makes your company unique. The journey we take together to define this organization is already part of its success!

People are the ones who create value.

Performance is achieved when tools are used effectively by people. Over time, tools and methods must be constantly adapted to change—in the organization, the market, the profession, and the technology itself. And with AI, it's even more complex! The challenge then becomes finding the right organizational structure to ensure the system remains efficient, by addressing structural conflicts and creating spaces for their resolution.

Transform in small steps with a clear vision.

Our experience shows that lasting change happens gradually, in small steps. For transformation to occur, these steps must be aligned with a clearly defined, shared direction. Not a rigid strategy, but a vision that empowers everyone to take coherent initiatives.

Our team

Jean-Baptiste Gaumont - founder

jean-baptiste.gaumont@hermedis.net

Jean-Baptiste has 30 years of industrial and international experience in various French groups, from CAC40 companies to rapidly growing mid-sized businesses, spanning the automotive and pharmaceutical sectors. He has a knack for identifying the turning points that unlock seemingly intractable situations and for organizing teams to sustain their performance.

A graduate engineer from Supélec, he spent the first half of his career in process engineering. His teams built machines and factories for clients worldwide. He lived in Thailand for three years, where he learned about factory operations, how to promote user adoption of machines, and gained a deep understanding of return on investment. It was also during this time that he experienced implementing quality and Lean methodologies, and structuring effective interfaces between support services and operational teams.

The second half of his career was dedicated to the industry of the future. He held various positions in several companies, where he implemented high-performing organizations for digitalization, leveraging his engineering experience: structuring governance and organizing for the adoption of new tools. He also learned how to apply the Theory of Constraints to managing these transformations. Furthermore, he personally led a large-scale digital transformation across multiple factories in several countries. Finally, he spearheaded and structured the initial AI initiatives at his most recent company.

Today, he puts this experience to use for Hermedis' clients.
